This journey with woods started a decade ago. It has been very very interesting because of two things.
Firstly, the market has evolved diversely in the last 10 years. While we stick with ONLY PLYWOODS because of quality, there are fellow interior designers who have started moving to many alternatives which are readily available and cheaper. When we explain to customers about the pros & cons, they feel more reliable, safe and happy to use PLYWOODS as it provides the interiors more sturdiness & longevity.
Secondly, with the increase in MSB (Multi Storied Buildings), the need for modular kitchen, wardrobes, puja units, book shelves, etc has increased because there is no RCC slabs & lofts. The size of kitchens has reduced from an average of 90 sq.ft to 56 sq.ft. Hence, it would be difficult to accommodate appliances, vessels, provisions, etc into dry area & wet area without the help of Modular Kitchen Accessories. Thanks to social media platforms, with more home tour videos available in the internet, customers have more awareness on the solutions available for space saving & utility interiors.
